I wasn't referencing rap in the worldly loving style. Bob IS in his own world but has had an influence, maybe sub-conciously, to rappers. I meant it as the styles of Mos-Def, KRS-One, Hieroglyphics, etc. Not these pieces of poo that get played on MTV or on Radio that only talk about worldly riches.

In response to the comment"Big Bob kicks the beatles arse anyday..."I think that's an unfair comment to say...both are the most essential music of our era (or any time really) The music of BOTH Bob Dylan and the Beatles stands up to to the greatest music of all time, Bach, Beethoven etc. Appreciation of both artists is complementary. Why does it have to be a competition anyways? This isn't sports its music!
